We are back! Here are some detail about our new normal...

Posted by Allyson Meyer on

We are so happy to be back in the salon and glad you will be joining us!

Things are going to look a little different and we want you to know what to expect.  All of the changes were made to keep you and our staff safe.

We had several meetings with the Department of Health and the RI Department of Commerce.

With our insight we were able to come to a mutual decision on what would be be the best protocols to keep everyone safe.

We have reduced our capacity from 8 stations to 5 stations and adjusted stylists schedules. The middle sink has been removed and built a partition to create privacy and a barrier between our sinks.  Our waiting area needed to be removed due to state regulations.

Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to offer snacks and beverages.

All of us will be wearing face masks and we will require that you do too.  (We promise we are smiling under our masks and happy to see you.)

Please come to your appointment alone.  We will only be allowing people with scheduled appointments into the salon.  Also, please only bring along the essentials with you.

When you arrive at the salon, we ask if possible you wait in your car, or outside the salon.  As soon as it is safe we will contact you to come to meet us at the front door.  Your stylists will be out to greet you and we will ask that you answer a few short questions and take your temperature.  Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be rescheduled a minimum of 14 days later

Blow drying will not be available at this time.  Please come with clean, dry hair,  free from styling products.

If you would like to purchase retail, which really helps support our Health Insurance and continuing education programs, your stylist can take care of this during your service.

Each morning before we start our day we will also take the same questionnaire and record our temperatures.  No one will come to work if they feel sick and we will make sure if they are sick with COVID-19 that they receive their pay to stay home and get better.

Our front desk will be supporting all of the stylists and answer questions from our office on the lower level.

We have increased our cleaning of high touch surfaces and have always had strict sanitation protocols as a licensed Salon.
